    Bio: Mr. Cotton joined Bain Capital in 2003 and is the head of Bain Capital Real Estate. Mr. Cotton has served as a key strategic advisor to and member of the Investment Committee of Bain Capital Real Estate since its founding in 2018. Mr. Cotton also led the global Consumer vertical at Bain Capital’s Global Private Equity business, where he oversaw successful real estate investments in Apple Leisure Group, International Market Centers, Showa Japan, and Ooedo Onsen. In addition, Mr. Cotton oversaw several of Bain Capital’s marquee consumer investments including Canada Goose, Sundial Brands, Carver Korea, Virgin Australia, and Varsity Brands. Prior to joining Bain Capital, Mr. Cotton was a consultant at Bain & Company. Previously, he worked in baseball operations at the Boston Red Sox. Mr. Cotton received an MBA from Stanford GSB, where he was a Siebel Scholar, an Arjay Miller Scholar, and received the Alexander A. Robichek Award for Outstanding Achievement in Finance. He received an AB from Princeton University.
