Bio: As the COO for Compatriot Capital, Tom oversees all aspects of business development and investment origination. He actively participates on the boards of Compatriot’s entity-level partnerships, and he also supervises all finance & accounting efforts. Since his start, he has worked to expand the pool of development partners, while also deepening the firm’s working relationship with each sponsor and growing the firm’s portfolio of long-term assets through careful underwriting and navigation of capital markets. Prior to joining Compatriot in 2017, Tom was a partner of E2M Partners (a real estate private equity fund manager), before which he was an investment banking associate at JPMorgan. Immediately following college, Tom served as a submarine officer in the US Navy, exiting the service as a Lieutenant. Tom received his B.S. in Computer Systems Engineering from Stanford University and his MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business where he graduated as a Fuqua Scholar.
