Bio: Wendy is a Managing Director and Lead Real Estate Specialist at Nuveen. With over twenty years of industry experience, she is currently responsible for driving the development and distribution of Nuveen's real estate investment capabilities across the Americas. Nuveen is one of the world’s largest real estate investment managers, with $150 billion of assets under management and over 80 years of investing experience. In her role she covers core, value-add and opportunistic equity and debt strategies across a range of geographies and investment vehicles. Prior to joining Nuveen, Wendy spent twelve years at Morgan Stanley Investment Management as an Executive Director in both Real Estate and Sales. Wendy holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BSBA from Washington University in St. Louis. She is an active member of the real estate community including IREI, PREA, AFIRE, RELPI, SPIRE, SREC and WX, and recipient of the WBC Rising Star Award.
