Bio: Charles Young is the new CEO of Sun Communities (NYSE: SUI). Sun is the leading REIT specializing in manufactured housing communities and RV resorts across the United States, Canada, and the UK. With over 500 properties, Sun provides high-quality, affordable housing and exceptional outdoor living experiences in high-demand locations. Prior to joining Sun, Charles served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Invitation Homes (NYSE: INVH), the leading owner and operator of single-family rental homes in the US. He was previously Executive Vice President at Mesa Development, a national commercial and residential real estate developer, and earlier in his career worked at Goldman Sachs in their Real Estate Principal Investment Area (Whitehall) and Goldman's Investment Banking Division in Mergers and Acquisitions. He serves on the Board of Trustees for Stanford University and the Board of Floor & Decor (NYSE: FND). Before beginning his business career, Charles played professional football in the NFL.
