Bio: Mr. Young is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Invitation Homes (NYSE: INVH). Headquartered in Dallas, Invitation Homes (IH) is a leading owner and operator of single-family homes for lease with 105,000+ homes in 17 markets across the United States. IH emerged as the largest Single Family Rental company through investments and sequential mergers with three of the largest real estate private equity firms – Blackstone, Starwood Capital, and Colony Capital. Before Invitation Homes, Charles was Executive Vice President at Mesa Development, a national commercial and residential real estate developer. Before joining Mesa, Charles worked for Goldman Sachs in their Real Estate Principal Investment Area (Whitehall) and Goldman's Investment Banking Division in Mergers and Acquisitions. Charles serves on the Board of Trustees for Stanford University and the Board of Floor & Decor (NYSE: FND). After undergrad, Charles spent several years as a professional football player in the National Football League.
