Bio: Alvin Katz is a partner in the Chicago office of Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP with a widely diversified practice representing real estate investors and developers in joint ventures and partnerships, acquisitions and dispositions of real property, debt and equity financings, and management and leasing transactions. During his more than 40 years as an attorney, Alvin has been involved in virtually every aspect of the real estate industry; in recent years his practice has focused on the formation of joint ventures for real estate transactions. Alvin served on the Stanford Law School Board of Visitors for 12 years and sits on the boards of directors of several non-profit organizations. He is the proud parent of a 2012 Stanford graduate and has been selected for membership in Stanford Associates. Alvin received his JD from Stanford Law School and his BA with high distinction and honors in Economics from the University of Michigan.
