Bio: George is a senior managing director at Hines, where he leads the company's investment and development efforts across all San Francisco Bay Area markets. George began his career at Hines in 1995 as an associate in Los Angeles, later relocating to San Francisco to manage the development of the Civic Center Complex project. Some of George’s recent notable projects include The Grant, a 300,000-square-foot, 228-unit multifamily development in Concord, CA; the Exchange @ 92, a 635,000-square-foot industrial and data center campus in Hayward, CA; and 550 Terry Francois, a 283,000-square-foot office acquisition in San Francisco’s Mission Bay District. George now spends most of his time on the redevelopment of a full city block in downtown San Francisco where Hines plans to develop the tallest building west of Chicago. George holds a BS in mechanical engineering from Stanford and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He is a board member and a past president of the Silicon Valley Chapter of NAIOP.
