    Bio: Doug Johnstone is President of The Howard Hughes Corporation’s Hawai‘i region and oversees its national condominium development platform. He is responsible for asset management, financing, and redevelopment. In Hawai‘i, he has led the growth of the 60-acre Ward Village community, which at full build-out will include nearly one million square feet of retail and thousands of new homes in Honolulu. Previously, he managed redevelopment efforts for Kamehameha Schools and was VP at Cyburt Hall Partners, a Los Angeles firm focused on opportunistic investments with institutional joint venture partners. Born and raised in Honolulu, Johnstone attended Punahou School and earned a bachelor’s degree in economics with honors from Stanford University. He has led more than $6B in real estate investment activity. He is a member of the Hawaii Business Roundtable, Young Presidents’ Organization, and Stanford Real Estate Council, and serves on the boards of Aloha United Way, NAIOP Hawaii, and a private real estate firm.
