    Bio: Paula Burke joins SPIRE as the Senior Membership, Programs and Events Manager. Prior to SPIRE she led the events team at the Portola Hotel & Spa in Monterey, CA. In her role, she oversaw the department, planned client programs, events and large city-wide conferences in collaboration with the Monterey Conference Center and community partners. Prior she was with the Hyatt Corporation for 5 + years representing the Hyatt Regency Monterey and then Carmel Valley Ranch. Her roles included event sales and planning management for various market segments ranging in size and scope. Through these experiences, she has had the opportunity to customize unique and memorable client programs from pre-planning to execution. She holds a BA in Global Studies from California State University at Monterey Bay.
