Bio: Bob is a partner of TPG RE, the $20B AUM equity and credit platform within TPG, a $280B global alternative asset manager. Until September 30, 2025, he also served as CFO of TPG RE Finance Trust (TRTX), an NYSE-traded commercial mortgage REIT with total assets of $3.7B and equity capitalization of $1.1B. Previously, Bob: directed US-based CRE credit investment activity for Sixth Street Partners LP (SSP), an $80B AUM special situations firm previously affiliated with TPG; was co-founder, CFO and later COO of Gramercy Capital Corp. (NYSE: GPT), a REIT with $8B+ in credit and net lease investments later acquired by Blackstone; was co-head of high yield CRE debt for Goldman, Sachs & Co.; and led the CRE capital markets at Bankers Trust Company (since merged with Deutsche Bank). He began his career at Touche Ross & Co.. Bob holds a BA from Stanford and an MBA from Wharton, is immediate past chair of the Board of Governors of CREFC. Bob will retire from TPG end of 2025 and thereafter be a senior advisor to TPG RE.
