Bio: Lauren came to SPIRE from the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research where she was director of outreach. Before that, Lauren was a senior researcher at the Harvard Business School for twelve years. She has also had careers in marketing as a brand manager at The Clorox Company, and as a tax specialist and certified public accountant with Arthur Andersen & Co. Serving as SPIRE's Executive Director allows Lauren to leverage her experience and skills dedicated to endeavors she enjoys: connecting people and networking in meaningful ways; running efficient and effective day-to-day operations; working with the SPIRE community-its Board, staff, members, and partners-to grow SPIRE in strategic ways; and all within the Stanford community. She earned her BA in economics from Stanford University and her MBA with honors from the Harvard Business School.
