Bio: Alex Montalbini is the founder and CEO of Amelio, an indoor air quality and healthy building consultancy and residential property development company. Amelio's mission is to develop, design, build, and manage buildings with a measurably superior indoor environment to improve health, well-being, and quality of life. We are currently providing indoor air quality and healthy building design consulting services, conducting internal R&D, and forming partnerships to carry out co-development projects and development projects of our own. Prior to founding Amelio, Mr. Montalbini worked as a structural engineering professional in Chicago, Hong Kong, and Abu Dhabi. He worked at companies such as Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, Halvorson & Partners (now WSP) and Thornton Tomasetti collaborating with international architectural practices on large-scale developments around the world. Mr. Montalbini received an MS in Structural Engineering from Stanford University and a BS in Civil Engineering from Southern Illinois University.
