Bio: Jeff Birdwell stepped down from his role as Managing Director of the Commercial Development + Advisory division with Sares Regis Group of Northern California in July of this year. In that capacity, Jeff oversaw office, civic, R&D, industrial and retail developments. Jeff’s 39 year Sares Regis tenure spanned 30 years in the San Mateo office and 9 years with affiliate Sares-Regis Group, where he was responsible for development activity in the Los Angeles/Ventura County regional office. During his career, he has developed and advised clients on over 20 million square feet of development projects. Jeff has a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering and a master's in civil engineering, construction engineering and management from Stanford and a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Claremont Men's College. He has taught a graduate class in the Sustainable Design and Construction program at Stanford for 30 years (CEE 248 - Introduction to Real Estate Development).
