Stanford University sets a standard of excellence with an alumni network of leaders across industries and continents. In the broadly defined real estate industry, Stanford has always led, from its founding with Leland Stanford’s land grant, to its alumni at the top of the industry, to its students – future innovators and changemakers.

Given this rich and ongoing history of excellence, SPIRE created the Stanford Real Estate Hall of Fame to honor Stanford alumni who are industry luminaries and pioneers – showcasing their contributions as a thank you and as an inspiration to industry leaders –

    Bio: Richard R. Kelley is a member of the Board of Directors of Seaside Ohana Investments a private investment company. Prior to that, he was involved with a number of companies with investments in a wide range of interests. Included was Outrigger Enterprises Group, a hotel development, investment and management company with operations in the Continental U.S, Hawaii, Guam, Australia and Asia. There, In addition to his regular duties, for nearly 40 years he personally wrote a weekly newsletter column for Outrigger's employees, interested friends and associates and was often asked to speak on a variety of topics including health care reform. He was also involved with and served on the boards of a number of educational, financial and medical institutions including First Hawaiian Bank, Punahou School, Kent Denver School, University of Denver, Craig Hospital and the Colorado Neurological Institute.
