Bio: Mr. Seymour, joined Douglas Emmett in 2017 as its Chief Strategic Officer and was appointed its Chief Financial Officer in 2019. Before joining Douglas Emmett, Mr. Seymour spent 20 years at The Walt Disney Company, where he had served most recently as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Disney-ABC Television Group. He serves on the boards of the Stanford Humanities Center, the Entertainment Industry Foundation, Stand Up to Cancer, and the UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center and UCLA Health Systems. Mr. Seymour holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University in Economics and Asian Languages (Chinese) and an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business. He lives in Pacific Palisades with his wife Juliet (MBA ’94). He has three sons, Jonathan (BS ’20 Mathematics and Management Science and Engineering), William (BA Economics ‘24), and Charles (‘27).
