Bio: Peter McDermott is a Co-Founder, Partner, and Chief Investment Officer of KSL Capital Partners, a private equity investment firm with equity and credit funds focused exclusively on travel and leisure businesses with over $21 billion in assets under management. As CIO, Peter co-heads the firm's Investment Committees and is a member of the firm's Management Committee. Prior to KSL, he was an investment banking analyst at Alex Brown & Sons and J.H. Whitney & Co. He is a member of WTTC (World Travel and Tourism Council), and Real Estate Roundtable and is a board member of Alterra Mountain Company and Ross Aviation. Peter holds a B.A. in Economics from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar. Peter is married with four children and resides in Englewood, Colorado.
