Bio: Ms. Hardy Gunther is a real estate transactional attorney for the City of San Jose, supporting the city's economic development and affordable housing goals. She serves as counsel on a wide range of transactional matters including real estate development, acquisition, disposition, municipal law, bond financing and affordable housing finance. Ms. Hardy also advises and provides oversight to the city’s federal and local grants program addressing homelessness and its prevention, education and supportive services to low income residents. She oversees the General Fund to local nonprofit grantees including Catholic Charities, The Health Trust, PATH, and Habitat for Humanity. She has extensive nonprofit leadership experience as former President of the Queen's Bench Bar Association of the SF Bay Area and President of the SF Community Land Trust. She has degrees from Stanford in International Relations and German Studies and received her juris doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law.
