Bio: Chris Grant is the founder of Yoke Management Partners (Yoke), a diversified real estate investment firm with a focus on naturally occurring affordable housing in the DMV. Previously, Chris was a member of the founding team at Blueprint Local, an opportunity zone-focused investment platform. Here, Chris structured investments for approximately 1,600 multifamily units and 500,000 square feet of commercial space. Before that Chris worked in Washington, DC with Promontory Financial Group, now an IBM Company. Chris serves on the Local Initiatives Support Corporation’s Emerging Leaders Council and the investment committee of Ignite Capital, a $4 million social impact fund providing capital to Baltimore-based social enterprises. Chris received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and his bachelor’s degree from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, where he was a Banneker Key scholar. Chris was born and raised in Baltimore and resides in Prince George’s County.
